  1. Thank you for allowing me to download your pattern. You are so creative and very intelligent. I wish I had a skill like yours because if I did maybe I wouldn’t be in the shape I am in today. Unemployed. I would donate if I could. Please excuse me!

  2. Ah, I found the button. It’s on the download pages. Sent you a couple of cups of coffee! Thanks again for creating these wonderful designs!

  3. Hi,

    great patterns!
May I use your patterns to create a cloth-picture to texture 3D furniture models (for example armchairs etc.)? (We trade in 3D models)
I would be pleased to hear from you, if you want further information about the way of use just ask!
    Thanks!

  4. I love your site! You have great stuff! But I’m a little confused about the license. It says, “You may use PatternHead files for personal and commercial work.” But then says, “you may not offer items created with Patternhead files for resale.” Does that mean we actually can NOT use them for commercial work?

    • Hi Jenna, I’ll have a look and see if I can make the license a bit clearer.

You can use patterns for some kinds of commercial work. For example, if you’re a designer and you’re creating a website for a client that’s fine. If you’re a designer and you’re creating a theme for a website that will be sold or distributed to multiple users then that isn’t allowed. If you’re using the pattern for your own site or promotional material that’s fine too.

Basically, if you’re creating items for resale or redistribution then that isn’t allowed.

  5. I love your patterns and would like to use one for a design I’m creating for a client.

Like others, I just wanted to make sure I’m understanding the license correctly.

From what you’ve written, I gather that I’m allowed to use your patterns to create a one-off custom design (e.g. for a couple’s wedding invitation set).

But I’m not allowed to use the patterns to create a generic greeting card that would be sold to many.

Is this right? Sorry, new to the world of licenses!

  6. Hi. I want to ask if is it posible to use those templates for make them a high class email. So everyone can use it to make their own good looking email.

I will show the link of your page so, the people can return here and see your work. So they always will know those templates are yours.

  7. hi, i want to create a one off brochure for a client can i use your pattern for this?? licence question again but best to make sure

  8. I think you should just say that this beautiful work is non-commercial :)It really takes time to figure out if one can use it or not in business.

    • Hi Ece,

      Thanks for the feedback.

The license does allow you to use the patterns for commercial work as long as the end result is not resold. I guess that does sound a bit confusing so maybe an example or two will help clear things up:

      1. You have a client that needs a website design – You can use the pattern for this
      2. You have a client that wants to commission you to design a theme for sale or giveaway – You cannot use the patterns for this
      3. You want to design some greetings cards or scrapbook paper for resale or giveaway – You cannot use the patterns for this
      4. You have a client that commissions you to design a poster – You can use the patterns for this as long as the end product is not for resale

Hope that helps clear things up :)

  9. Sorry, like many others, just want to clarify.

Can I use your patterns (will probably be altered or combined with other elements in some way) as subtle background patterns for a few pages in an issue of the print and digital magazine I work for? Since, obviously, the magazine is for sale… Thanks
