Martin Isaac has released another useful set of geometric vector patterns. Here’s a few samples…

A set of 16 (free) seamless vector pattern swatches for Adobe Illustrator CS and higher. Inspired by the work of design legend Verner Panton and great for use as backgrounds, fill patterns, and optical illusions. All in glorious black and white.

Free Seamless Vector Patterns – Geometric Set 1

Free geometric repeat patterns all done in monochrome and based on squares.

They’re seamless so they’ll repeat for ever and ever. In the download you’ll find:

3 EPS files that you can load into Adobe Illustrator (or your favorite vector editor) and edit to change the scale, colors etc.
3 PNG thumbnails that you can use right away in your web designs or load them into your Photoshop pattern library (Edit->Define Pattern)
